Initially Advanced Network Consulting was contacted by AdvanexUSA to manage a project to transition the organization from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange Server. Advanced Network Consulting designed the new server topology and purchased all the servers and software for the project. ANC then migrated all mail data to the Exchange platform and reconfigured all desktop and laptop computers for the new server. Additionally ANC managed all firewall configuration changes, DNS changes and assisted staff with learning the changes to the email system.
Projects going forward have included upgrading the Windows Server domain from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 R2, installing new file servers, replacing a firewall, and virtualizing various servers using Hyper-V.
