Add a link in a message that opens a pre-addressed new message in Outlook 2013

Here is a quick tip from the Microsoft Office Blog for Outlook 2013:

“A link to an email address can be included within the email message body. When the recipient clicks the link, a new blank message addressed to the email address that you specify opens in his or her email program.

For example, you can include a link such as mailto:customerservice@example.com as a quick way for recipients to contact a customer service representative.
