Advanced Network Consulting has taken care of Dr. Acosta’s office for about 5 years.

Prior to performing any technical solutions for Doc’s practice, we were business associates through the local Chamber.

We initially were brought in to assist with replacing aging front office and exam room computers. ANC performed the upgrades of both their EZDental and Dexis Imaging program for Digital X-Rays upgrades. We have since provided on-call hardware and software support to keep the office running smoothly.

In 2008, Advanced Network Consulting installed a new Dell server running Microsoft Windows Server and switched the network from Peer-to-Peer to a Microsoft Windows Server domain, replacing a back office computer that was acting as the EZDental data storage location and another computer that was storing the Dexis data, centralizing all the EDZental patient data and Dexis Digital images, QuickBooks Financial data and general office data.

All computers and users, from front office, back office and exam room, now log onto the domain.  Security and file access is now controlled via Active Directory to ensure that sensitive and financial data is only access by staff that requires access.  Since the installation of the server, the stability of their business network and system reliability is has improved dramatically.  All the technical frustrations the staff was experiencing are long gone.

Pleased with our performance and high level of work completed, Doc continues to refer us to other local, fellow dentists.
